Someone else uploaded that one. Search for “Rescue 911 gun shop”

Could you upload the segment about the store owner who gets shot multiple times?

Bad outcome, but the rescue diver was at least set up for an overhead environment with extra bottle slung. I’m REALLY surprised that not one of the group did a buddy check before entering the water. I hope serves to all the viewers that you HAVE TO TAKE a cave course before diving an overhead situation.

sometimes as adults we forget to listen to authority

This had to have been the saddest episode of all. Two of the segments involved immediate death to someone, and the other one had a similar incident much later that he died in.

i totally agree with you! drowning takes a long time!!!

That is amazing that two of the three survived. I can’t picture myself every trusting my life to a tank on my back.

That poor man:’( they were so stupid to go down there…One minute he is alive the next minute he is gone, I was in tears:(

This really is a senseless tradgedy that could have been prevented. But some people are just dumb enough swim into a cave without any cave divng equiptment. Can they be anymore dumb to do that.

All the divers were certified. The woman had been their former instructor, and they knew they were not supposed to enter the cave beforehand. One of them even said he knew was going to be pissed at the time he decided to enter. I don’t think there was really much she sould have done about it other than wrestling them to the surface.

I would say the instructor’s main mistake was not briefing these divers better about the dangers of cave diving and making sure no one even thought about entering the cave system. Shaking your finger at someone underwater doesn’t usually work, especially with ego-driven young men.

Excellent re-enactment of a disaster…bad choices all around!

  15. razgrizaceblaze259 on July 9th, 2008

This might be the only segment you’ve seen where someone died, but there were quite a few other segments where, unfortunately, someone or some creature died.

  16. allgood2000 on July 12th, 2008

They probably did, but Shatner said in the beginning that it was a remote area, so it probably took them a while to get there.

  17. srubi74 on July 14th, 2008

I don’t understand why they did not call 911 when or before the guy went down for them. I guess maybe they thought these guys were dead, but just in case it would’ve been good to have paramedics there to take him right away to the hospital.

  18. srubi74 on July 18th, 2008

Yeah, drowning or fire. Those two scare me. Unfortunately, you don’t neccesaily get to choose how you go… But you can avoid this sort of thing of course.

  19. erscrubsfan on July 19th, 2008

I think that is the only episode I have seen that someone died.

Drowning is the #1 scariest way of dieing for me.
And to drown stuck in a cave must be the scariest shit ever…

i am cavern diver certified and that shit still makes me rather claustraphobic
